oil change info

Nice, that's exactly what I've been looking for! Too bad that site charges a $10 surcharge on all orders under $25, turning a $6 socket in $25 (with shipping) Amazon had it for $12.33 with shipping. Done deal, thanks again!
A standard 32mm socket will not be able to fit onto the oil filter caps on some engines. I bought a standard depth 32mm for my 2.0LNF. You have to put the socket onto the hex first, then put the extension on the socket, but it works just fine.
My son recently changed the oil on his new '09 Cobalt for the 1st time and there was no way to get the 32mm socket onto the 2.2LAP. Because we were already in the middle of the stream, we had no choice but to carefully do it hack style with channel-locks, but decided that this cannot be the norm. We didn't marr the cap, but just the same, we like to do things properly.
Some HHRs may have the same problem.
We have since picked up a Lisle P/N: 14700 Desc: Oil Filter Wrench for GM2.2L. It was under $7. It is lower in profile and fits on easily.
