Oil filters - Who makes the best?
You'll show them.. 
I just don't want to deal with their bull****.

I've been using whatever filter was on sale for my Suzuki since I bought it brand new. Because we didn't have syn oil in those days, I had to use dino oil. Because of this, the oil change intervals are 3k mi. I hope I don't sustain any long term damage as a result of cheap filters. It's going on 24 years old this month and I've never had any trouble with it.

very few people ever keep thier cars long enough to ever see, if there is anything to see, anything that could be blamed on oil or oil filters unless its down right abuse....or neglect. Even halfa$$ maintenance will keep a car going for a long time....

I shop for filters made by champion labs. Autozone carries them as STP. Pull the filters out of the box's and compare. The usa made champion lab filters have sturdier end plates than the AC and fram, the by-pass spring is meatier, and the filter media is more dense. Ck the fine print on the filter box, champion labs make a lot of filters with name brands on the box.
