Oil filters - Who makes the best?

I've been using whatever filter was on sale for my Suzuki since I bought it brand new. Because we didn't have syn oil in those days, I had to use dino oil. Because of this, the oil change intervals are 3k mi. I hope I don't sustain any long term damage as a result of cheap filters. It's going on 24 years old this month and I've never had any trouble with it. I admit that I use AC Delco in the HHR...

very few people ever keep thier cars long enough to ever see, if there is anything to see, anything that could be blamed on oil or oil filters unless its down right abuse....or neglect. Even halfa$$ maintenance will keep a car going for a long time....

I always open the filter box to check for the Big O-ring. If missing, I tell them & they open other boxes till they get one for me..
