Yes there was a recall on my 09 automatic for low pedal on the SS, they add a vacuum pump.

Not a recall a TSB that was performed "GOODWILL". 09-05-22-001A. There is a special labor rate that is not published, they have to enter it and see what comes up.

In other words, they won't admit up front that it is/was free.

Pretty sure the "Goodwill" vacuum pump was only for the SS w/auto transmissions. The 5 speeds didn't seem to suffer from the hard pedal at start up.
