There aren't no local shops in your area ?
I also feel your pain about doing self repairs. I'm still healthy but wish I had a building and lift. 67 is the number people tell me I am.

I prefer small 1-2 man shops. The usually don't do flat rate books, they use real time.

We have a couple small 2 /3 man shops around but they are over run with jobs. The small shops are back logged.....

I did finally get into the local Firestone, and they are trying to get me some poly bushings, I just returned from there and they ordered some from Moog that they hope will fit, won't know until tomorrow when they get them in and check the fitting.....if not I will have to go to OEM, still it will cost me $170 just for the bushing replacement...but that is what they can charge sense all shops are overloaded around this small town. They check out the whole front end and said everything else looks really good...I will have them check the back end for me sense I "think" I hear a noise / clunk from the back, tho it's hard to tell with the front clucking, may be an echo...lol

Thanks again to all helping me out here, very much appreciated !
Mike

Because they are good and cheaper?

Sway bar is not a safety issue, unless you are a "road racer" it can wait.

Even before I got sick the bushings were a major pain in the butt for as simple a job as it is.

The passenger side bushing is almost non existent, it just bangs against the retainer? ....and the other side is getting there....
Drives me crazy when I hit a slight bump.

Don't go racing on curvy roads until it gets fixed.

Your better off getting the poly bushings as long they are for your size sway bay and will fit the OEM "clam shell" for them. If not get the bracket that goes with the aftermarket poly bushing.
