Sway Bar Bushings..Should I attempt myself?
Final Update:
Got the sway bar bushing installed by a local shop (Covington tire & lube) I had already purchased the Moog End Links and asked if they would install them too, wasn't sure if they would install parts you bring in, they said they do it all the time...good thing I had them, they had to use a cutting torch to remove the old End Links...it took them over 4 hours to do the job and charged me only $150.00 even. To me that was a deal considering they took as long as they did.
Finally have a nice smooth reasonably quiet ride....
Thanks again for all the advice and heads up from those who responded to my post......Ride on !

Out of curiosity, what is that shops hourly rate ?
On their wall it says 65 per hour but he quoted me 55 (over the phone).....I've done business with them before but only tires and oil / filter change...

Except when you lookup the flat rate: bushings .7 hour, links .6 hour. 1.3 hours = $115/hour.
Usually the flat rate time is greatly inflated. Very few shops charge actual time, because the technicians might be working on 6 jobs at the same time and it is difficult to log the time.
