It is difficult to get to the clips on the radiator side. When I installed my trans cooler I ended up just cutting the rubber hose and splicing in. There just is not any room to work in without taking everything apart, but it is doable.

leaking from where? From the trans side, just take it off new o-rings and replace. I think there are o-rings anyway, may be just be loose. No o-rings on the rad side, has somebody replaced the rad or otherwise monkeyed with the connections? You are supposed to use new clips any time they are removed.

The leak is on the transmission side but not right at the trans its leaking more near the swedged metal and the flex line is.

Bad place. Have you had the sticker shock for a new part yet?

You have to move the plastic covers off of the rad fittings, then remove the circlips from the fittings. The hose connector theoretically then just pulls out.

Check your PM for a link that might help.
