turn signal switch replacement

Update

I was able to get the new switch to click into place by trimming a very small amount from the switch housing with a razor blade. It now works like a champ. I may be wrong but my theory is that they took a casting from an oem switch when they manufactured the switch which made the housing just a tiny bit bigger.

Thanks I knew about that fix but I wanted a new lever with fresh markings. Im keeping tge old one as a backup.

Outstanding... Like the search feature, I was looking for a turn signal cancel thread and this one even had a video!
Perfect, my 08 Panel 2LT fails to cancel 90% of the time and I'll try this before purchasing a new Switch.

really glad that i could help. did this fix some time ago.......have not had a single problem with the turn signal since........
