My ride along is at 9AM and I figure I better get there at least a half hour early. Really depends on what your schedule is...but lunch would be great. I should be done by then. Hey Deb... not sure what your plans are for Sat. late aft., but i wanted to let you know that there is a car club (not really a club, just a buncha folks that have and love old cars) that gets together the 1st Sat. of every month on the very eastern edge of Lawrence, KS. (about 30-35 min. west from the location you listed)

Last month there were around 60-70 cars. If you have the time and want to check out some cool cars, let me know. I can give you the exact address. Unfortunately I may have to be out of town next weekend, but if you like old cars you may like this. Let me know, and I’ll pm the info to you.

 

Gonna be fun, can't wait to meet ya! We'll figure out someplace for lunch.

 

I'd still like to meet some folks. I know I'm a newbie and don't get to converse as much on here as alot of other people do, so I feel a bit dumb just chiming in and inviting myself.
As I said in a previous post, my brother is getting married on the 7th so that leaves me out but I'd still like to get together and have breakfast or lunch on the 8th if anyone is up for it. I guess that also depends on the wife and if she'll release the chain from my leg for a few hours.

 

Please PM me the info...not sure what time we'll be in that area. I've got a couple people I'm going to stop and meet on the way out, so I'm now collecting cell phone and email addresses. I'll have my cell phone and my work blackberry, so I'll have email access on the road too. Will keep in touch with anyone who wants along the road. Thanks for the heads up...that definitely sounds like fun if the timing works out.

That's a bummer Mike...was really looking forward to that. Maybe it will be some other time.

We're in Lenexa at the hotel and just got thru watching the race. Will be heading for the speedway around 8am...ride along is at 9am. VividHHR...will get hold of you in the morning or you can PM me tonight if you like. Will also send you an email from my blackberry too.

Met up with Rollin (has 07 Silverstone) and tcstoy (Amethyst 06) for about an hour today. Had a great time and took some pics. Will post them when I return home as I'm burned out and need to get some rest.
