Unbold! in future please.

I'm in Wisconsin, if you drive any distance, the windows and mirrors can fog/ice back up after you pull away from your driveway. I do 80 mile commutes, and this is common. I can see if you only drive short distances in a large city, you will not have that issue. Defrost works for windows......mirrors are SOL at this time.

My Envoy had them and they were very useful for my Midwest climate. I miss the feature, but for the $$ and install $$, I'll leave it be for now.

The ONLY place I have found to buy them from so far is here.

http://www.finditparts.com/products/velvac-718394-5 $25.38 plus shipping.

and here as a special order.

I ordered those Velvac spotted mirrors just now. If you add them to your cart and then try to close the window (like you're leaving the page), then they will offer you free shipping! Total was $25 for the pair shipped. Hope they're decent! Low $ risk at least.

If you feel the NEED for them, then by all means, Add them.

Not a big enough issue for me to bother wanting to add them myself.

To each their own.

Damn, wish I knew about that when I ordered mine awhile back. Paid 12.00 for shipping.

I just placed another order for a Pair, first time it offered 10% off, did that to check, but was only 2 bucks and some change off, so I tried closing the window again and they offered the Free Shipping.

I was talking to someone else here in PM who wanted to know where I got them, he placed his order, they contacted him saying Velvac had no more of them.

But said Velvac Will make them as ordered but a 3-4 week Wait.

I think these are gonna go away real quick like all the other Aftermarket HHR stuff(the limited amount that there was) as they move on to producing stuff for cars still being made.

I bought a Second set as a Spare in case they go bad in a few years.

Get this type of HHR stuff While you still can folks!

This would have been a great option to have from the factory. Heated mirrors are almost a must up here in the North. I checked the Muth website and it looks like these are no longer available. Anyone know where or how I can get a pair?

availability

I have no idea if they are still available, but mine were made up in their custom, aftermarket shop. I wouldn't expect them to be listed on their website menu. Check the contacts I mentioned earlier in this thread, and see if they can make up another set. While there seemed to be interest from others at the time, as far as I know I am the only one who actually finished it. Unless someone corrects me, my HHR remains unique in having heated, signal mirrors.

So now that spring has begun to well, spring, I have added this to my 'to do list'.. I hated all the snow build up on my rearview mirrors this winter, so this is a feature I want for next winter.
I have been in contact with Muth and found out this kit is STILL available. Here is the email I got back.

Thank you for contacting us!
Yes, absolutely we would be able to make a SignalŽ Mirror kit for your HHR. You can order the kit on our website - http://www.muthco.com/products/vehic...&submit=Search. Just add all the vehicle information in the notes section. i.e. – year, model, make. If the mirrors are heated or unheated. And if you want red or amber LED’s.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Take care.
Sincerely,
Denise Morley

So my question is, anyone else interested in this because I will see if they can get us a discount? I know they did it for a few Nissan Murano owners and I'm sure they could do it for us.

Has anyone else installed the heated signal mirros?

I continue to enjoy my heated signal mirrors from Muth. Has anyone else completed this modification or am I still the only one?
