why do I suddenly crave a Coconut Cream pie???

 

Well it's a little less ugly after roughing in the shape today... But I still have a long way to go.
I plan on doing a rear diffuser under the bumper and a dual exhaust.

 

Bill Mitchell would be proud of you Ben, there's some Buick DNA in those sweeping quarter panels.

Probably already been said, but where did those tail-lights come from?

 

MeijerLPO, the tail lights are aftermarket units for a Nissan 350z. Of course they are not sitting at the same angle on my car as they do on the Z.

 

That's what I thought they were. Looking good bud. Been following this for a while silently.

Got a bit more roughing in of the Buick project done today. Little bit of fiberglass too... But no shots of that. Here's what I got done... Let me know what you guys think :)







Oh, and the rear diffuser hasn't been dialed in yet.

 

Absolutely digging the quarter panels, and the hatch Ben, it's excellent how you're carrying the lines throughout the panel transitions.

The only thing that doesn't really flow well to my eyes is the diffuser, it's a bit too "Fast & Furious" to really gell with the design.

If it were my call, and this is just the opinion of one guy who can't draw a straight line without resorting to CAD/CAM technology, I'd either lose the diffuser or dial it back 50%.

I shall now take cover while you throw things at me.
