Thanks Boydie! I figured you would appreciate them... It's sort of a different twist on the way the old Supers had script across the top of the grille.

Hate to say this but you are missing the one thing that symbolized Buick over the years, the ports.

No need to hate to say it 08LaRam, I have always intended on putting venti-ports on this project. I bought a set from a Lucerne that I think look nice. Although 3 ports per side won't be true to the cylinder count tradition, I think the shape will work nicely.

Well I got a little more well work accomplished yesterday. I think that mirroring the front wheel well with the back helps to visually make the design feel a bit more cohesive. Now I just need to decide if I want to go thinner with the spacing of the contour line like on the front or wider like on the rear. I think I am leaning more towards the thicker one. What do you guys think?

Benjiwah ... Happen to find this "Clark Kent" version of your vastly superior Buick Super Estate concept .... Also a HHR 56 Chev version (about halfway down Page 101) Check it out ... http://www.cochespias.net/viewtopic....974&start=2000

CocheSpias.net is a fabulous Spanish / International car site with all sorts of unusual vehicles! Heres there main page via google translated (english version) ..

The forward cant to the rear wheel wells looks very nice Ben, now it really looks ready to pounce.

I think you're on the right track with the beefier contour line.

So odd seeing a photo of it "out and about" in public, you've got to generate more than a few "What the h*ll is that?" looks.

you are correct sir!

you're definitely on the right track, as much as the wheel wells will allow that is.
It's too bad there isn't more room to play with to get a really dramatic slope.....looks good though!

can't wait for paint!
