Actually Blindlizard, I was planning on blacked out fiberglass panels to cover the gaps between original pillars and the new ones. Also the new pillars would be chrome. I think visually, that would really make the original pillars disappear and the new ones stand out.

 

I think this build is amazing! I think whatever direction you go with the B pillar will work fine. Great work!

Thank you Mike and Lucky! Still have a lot more tweaking to do, but the foam is cheap and easy. So basically can work out my ideas on the car and if I am not satisfied with my results, I can scratch it and start over.
