Painting Chevy Bowtie Emblem

I am brand new, to my HHR, so if i ask "newbie" questions, please forgive me but how do you change the color of the Chevy logo? My HHR is black and i would like to keep it all black if possible(blacked out) but i have not yet seen how you change the color of it.

Sorry, I don't have pictures. Mine looks like Greybeard's but its dark blue metallic. I wet sanded mine with 500 grit paper. Sprayed with a can of dark blue metallic Duplicolor. Wet sanded with 1200 grit, polished with white polishing compound, final polish with 3M micro-polish. Two years later and they still look great. See post #9 in the second thread that ChevyMgr linked to. I'll have to get a shot of it and post it.

If you want to be a little different look into 3M Di-noc . I comes in MANY textures and colours that may suit your needs. Have a look for ideas....
