LOL - yeah, seems some owners and advertisers don't know the year of the HHRs.

We do have more than a few members that think they have a 2005, and two that think they have the ultrarare 2014.
And a good number that have the 2004 model.

I think most of us here have at least an inkling of an idea on the valid model years.

Hold on there. I just waxed mine and it turned into a late 2018 model.

A copuple years ago at Disney someone thought my HHR was at least a 2012 model (in 2016) so thats good lol.

Update, for those who care....

Bought the 4.7" carbon fiber and aluminum one from "car elements", online. Installed easily, so far seems to be a quality piece. No degradation on AM or FM. so far at least.

Another update...

Have had the "stubby" unit installed for a while now and have not perceived any loss in signal. Radio sounds as good as ever, even fairly distant AM stations. No downside that I can see, and I do appreciate the (minor) appearance improvement.
