I don't know the name of it, but it is the thing you will grab when you want to close the door. I am thinking of taking it off and using vinyl to colorize it. But I don't know how to remove it. I notice there are two screws in the thing under a rubber cover, but after unscrewing, I am still unable to remove it.

The bolts in the door cup hold the door panel on with the help of a bolt located under the door release handle.
