Just bought a new battery gonna give it a shot when I get home..and yeah the remain battery was 40.00 with 90 day warranty the new one for my car was was 95.00 so it was cheaper, but had I known what I know now I would have just bought the new battery. Hopefully this fixes my problem once again appreciate everyone's response and input and I'll post an update when I get the battery in.

I don't know how they can rebuild modern batteries beyond replacing the electrolyte, maybe desulphate the plates with epsom salts. Like those bozos on youtube. More like revive than reman.

Old timey batteries could actually be rebuilt with new plates etc.

Yeah revive, probably a better term. I'll never buy another one. Just tyo update. I installed the new battery and immediately the car started has no engine light on and is showing zero codes. I drove it about 2 hours stopping periodically to shut it off I guess just to make sure it would start again, it did and my problem seems to be fixed. Once again I'm greatful for the advice.

Quick update, the car started and ran perfect through out the evening. However as I was pulling in my driveway about 10:00 pm I noticed power steering seemed tro stiffen a bit, I thought that was weird butg car was still running, so I shut car off woke up at 3:00 am to go to work and the brand new battery I bought earlier in the day...completely and totally dead, checked all the fuses none seemed to be bad. I do have an aftermarket stereo that has GPS and DVD etc on it but I've had the stereo for about 6 months with no problems that I'm aware of..anyhow I went ahead and pulled the radio fuse from the BCM on passenger side. I have the battery on charge and hopefully in a few hours it starts but any suggestions or ideas on what may cause a brand new battery to be dead after sitting for only a few hours?

Brand new battery was not charged correctly.
Loose ground wires, battery connections.

Thought to check the alternator?
Somebody recently blamed a loose ground cable on the battery.
Radio installed incorrectly? Not on a switched circuit.
Something plugged into one of the aux power outlets.
OnStar trying to call home.
My favorite; didn't know the headlights were automatic, turned them on then forgot to turn them off (first day of ownership).
