I'm curious. What did the dealer say?

Upon reading the thread, the first thing I thought was that the light sensor wasn't turning on the headlights and the DRLs were on all the time. That would give you brake lights and backup lights - but no tail lights or side markers. Just a thought. The cruise issue sounds like the LED / circuit load problem.

 

ok so it turns out someone forgot to tighten the bolts on the fuse block and some wires got loose, the purge solenoid under the hood needed the wiring harness fixed, that is also a service bulletin. so everything is in working order as far as i know we will see in the next few weeks
