The plugs are held tight by bolt that go through the fuse panel. I inspected mine and all looked to be good. No corrosion, all wires seem to be tight in the sockets, and all the blades on the fuse panel back were straight as well. This is what confused me so bad when I reassembled the unit and so many new issues. My phone camera is broken right now so maybe I can borrow the wife's to snap a few pics later today. But for now it's time for bed as I work nights.

Ok guys, this is my write up with pictures. I'm in no way saying this is the correct way or that it will fix your ride. Work on your stuff at your own risk. I'll try to explain what I did to best of my ability, and I don't always use the correct terms.
1. Disconnect battery in the spare tire compartment.

2. Remove the two + terminals on the side of the fuse panel. Use a 13mm deep well socket.

3. Loosen 4 bolts going through fuse panel that hold the plug bulkhead to the fuse panel. This takes a 7mm socket. These bolts don't come all the way out. They have shoulders that hold them in the panel.

4. Lightly pull out on the 5 tabs that hold the fuse panel down and pull up on panel. Be patient it may take a few tries to get it all. You may have to wiggle the panel a bit to get the plugs to come loose. I also tapped down on the bolts to get the plugs to come down and out. Be gentle with this stuff.

5. Inspect spades and wiring on plugs for loose connections, corrosion, bends.

6. Clean and apply Dielectric grease. I started using a Q-tip but found if you break the end off of the q-tip the smaller hard end works better to get around those small prongs.

7. Reinstall in reverse order. When tightening the four plug bolts mine made a pop noise. I believe this is the plugs re-seating as my went on to tighten down. Again use common sense, don't kill
'em. Apply your dielectric grease to your two + terminals, battery terminals, and fuse blades as others have mentioned. Hope this helps. Good luck.
