Clean the MAF and throttle body , while you have the battery negative terminal disconnected.
Why not charge the battery up, the alternator won’t do it.

Overheating will trigger reduced power. It goes into life preservation mode, every other cylinder fires in an attempt to cool it down and get the drivers attention. Scary if you are driving oblivious to the dashboard.
