I have a 2006 LT that I bought about two weeks ago, and for a week it drove fine but last Sunday when I put it into reverse to park it, it died. I’ve had an alternator put in and put in a new battery yesterday and it didn’t do anything. We put some seafoam in it today and cleaned the engine bay and it’s working better in drive, but still loping between 0 and 1000 rpm. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

How many miles on the odometer? How long was the car sitting before you got it, it might be stale gasoline. It might be incorrect spark plugs. It might be dirty MAF sensor and throttle body!

 

Check the AC compressor bearings.
