2006 No Power to HVAC Blower Motor Control Panel
Trying to fix mom's HHR.
2006 2.2L LT
AC control nob stopped working.
I read a bunch of the threads on here and did all the following.
Repaired the Butyl Patch. No apparent leaks or damage. Live in Arizona so not much rain.
Replaced the resistor under dash by the blower fan.
Replaced HVAC relay #30 in BCM Passenger kick panel under radio.
All fuses test good in kick panel
replaced BCM3 Fuse #4 30amp under hood
swapped relay #50 with #14 and #26 as they are the same part #'s and both those systems still worked. So I assume relay #50 works.
I have NO power to the fan control nob.
Am I missing something? Fuse? Ground?
From what I've read so far I'm suspect of a ground issue 🤔
I've built old cars and wired them but this one has me baffled. All this newer car wiring reminds me why I like the oldies😎
I'd love to take it to a dealer and save my sanity but mom has no money 🤑
Any ideas?
Thanks, ET

Pull the HVAC control panel and inspect for burnt pin connector.

Thanks for the quick responses
control panel lights all on.
I took the control panel out of the dash thinking it was bad. Tested the plug to the control nob to make sure it was getting power and has no power to any pins with car off/ on and running.
I'm guessing the bigger gauge orange wire should be hot to the switch with key on/running

Might be because it switches ground.
This is a 2006; have you addressed the butyl patch under the cowl? More than likely your problem is a swamped blower motor.

Update to my no power to the "knob" issue. Thank you for pointing out that I didn't proof read🤦
Fan motor works when I ran jumpers from cigarette lighter +/- .
Was going to start tracing power wire to the control panel knob unless someone here has better advice.
Fuses are all good.
Thanks for all the helpful advice so far guys. MUCH APPRECIATED 🙏🏽
