All bolts in the under-hood fuse box are tight.

I pulled the waterfall and removed the climate control module. To my eye, everything looks very clean. I don't see anything melting or looking burnt. But, should there be only 7 terminals in the center connector? or should there be 8? ADDED: I looked at used ones on ebay and they all have 7 pins.

Thanks!
John

How many wires on the connector. Are 8 spaces populated? There are 2 spaces listed as "not used"
The items you cite are on all 3 connectors.

Six wires...

I plugged everything back in and tested. All working correctly. So am putting the waterfall back together...

Done! And all still working. I will report back if it fails again.

Thanks for all the guidance. Much appreciated..

It's the 4 bolts that hold the fuse block together. These guys think that cures everything.

Not everything, just multiple seemingly unrelated electrical problems.

In 15 years of owning and working on HHRs I have found many times those 4 bolts loosen up and cause problems. I don’t think that tightening them cures everything, I know it’s a good practice to check them as a process of elimination. Do the basics first!

One thing is for sure it only takes a few minutes to do.
