Hey Everyone, I'm wondering if anyone else has had, or is having an electrical problem like I am having. I first noticed that on occasion my drivers side window button wouldn't work until I hit one of the other 3 window buttons this happens a few times a week but there is no pattern to it . Then in February on a rainy day I went to stop at a stop sign and had no power to the brakes at all, hard pedal, and went through it (this was not a case of wet brakes). They worked fine once I pulled to the curb and tried them again and thought it was just me but it happened again later that day at another stop sign, same thing , no power, this has not happened again to date(rain or shine).

Since then my window problem is the same but on 2 occasions my radio has stayed on, once for over 90 minutes when I was out of the car and locked it with my remote, and at home but I noticed it was on and was able to shut it off.

When I brought it in to have this checked at the GM dealer I was told that they could not "dublicate" any of these problems and couldn't make any repairs. I have contacted GM's head office and talked to someone, but I'm not too sure they can help and I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

If anyone can help it would be appreciated, its not alot of fun driving right now, my car is a 2009 HHR SS 5-Speed with only 4200 KMS or 2700 miles. Thank You

 

I've had the sticking drivers window problem a few times now. I've seen it mentioned on here before.

Mine's going to the dealer this week for that and a few other issues. I also had my "service airbag" pop up on the DIC and stay on till I turned off and re started.

as far as brakes go I've had no issues.

 

Is it no power or did the ABS kick in , in a radical way? Sounds like a ABS issue

 

no not abs .........no power , no brakes ,I stood on them as hard as I could.
