ABS TC code C0035-18

Front left speed sensor - Low signal amplitude. all 4 bearings are brand new and came with the ABS included. I delete the code with the scan tool and just after the first acceleration, on the dash board the ABS and TC lights appear. Any idea?

Also, on the scan tool, the code reads as "history" instead of "actual", which I find strange.

Inspect that wire harness for loose connection and pinched wires.

History will clear after 100 good key cycles.

My guess is a defective LF hub.

Hi sorry but what is a key cycle?

Also, would it be a good idea to just swap the left bearing to the right to see if the code appear to the right instead of the left?

Key on-Key off. Kinda like whacks on- whacks off.

Depend on if you have a VOM.

You could go to the trouble of swapping the hubs as you suggest , then order a new pair , and keep the good one for a spare.
PM Art he has a pair for sale

the ad has expired but he might still have them

I was in the process of swaping the left hub to the right and in my bad luck I solved my problem. Was using the wheel attached to the hub to pull it out and forgot to disconnect the sensor cable. The ring sensor separated from the hub.... and I replaced it with an old one I had at hand in the garage. No more codes lol. Did not cost me a penny. Very glad. I used a piece of wood pressed against the old ring and hit it with a hammer for it to take place around the hub.

So problem solved? If so great. I wouldn’t leave it like that . But it’s up to you.

No because in the first place I was looking for a working front hub while Art was selling rear ones.

Yes ABS problems solved.
