Blower quit today--- for a few miles then working again

2011 LS model Blower stopped working ( 28 degrees, burrr) All speeds. After about 10 miles it came back on. All speeds up and running again. What should I look for? Dont need this to happen again. thanks I did a search and it has 100's of posts with the word blower in it, didnt find quite what i was looking for.

It could be loose wires, the resistor is giving up (doubtful) the blower fan is giving up ( could be) or the dash control panel is on it’s way south ( again could be ) or it’s a loose fuse # 10 and 16 or relay #30 in the console fuse panel

Thanks, I'll get at it this afternoon and report back. Also thanks for the link. Planning on turning the key on and then going after fuses/relays and wiggling wires. Yesterday I rotated switch multiple times with no response. Car has been just about perfect for 199k. Hoping this is an ez fix.

Yesterday didn't go quite the way I intended. 28 degrees again. Started the car and again no blower on any speeds. Rotated the speed control knob 7 or 8 times and still nothing. Drove the car less than 1/8th of a mile and the blower came to life again. Drove it about 40 minutes and it worked perfectly the rest of the day. Pulled it inside and went thru the fuses,10 & 16 and #30 also checked connections on the blower itself. No problems and it didnt stumble at any point while wiggling wires etc.. Im keeping the panel for the motor off so that when it happens again, I can tap the blower with a screwdriver handle and see if it comes to life. It seems to be temp related at this point. I didnt hit any bumps in the road when it came to life yesterday, i was probably going less than 15 mph on a smooth road. I also checked the fuses under the hood and everything looks nice and clean, no corrosion. My guess is the motor itself. I'll work at it again this afternoon and see what I come up with. Any thoughts? thanks again for a great forum. Very helpful people here.

Keep at it, you’ll find it! Sometimes the blower motor stops in a dead spot and it can come back to life , engender with the slight vibration of driving slowly.

At 199k it could be time. A little history--- Car purchased in 2014 w/ 155k ( 249 k) Probably 1000 miles a week for its first 3 years. Since that time only 45k added. Its been a trooper and dependable.

Quick update. It's been working fine since wiggling wires and pulling fuses. I put a touch of di electric grease on the fuse blade.
