Well I just got a call and they said they can't get it to boost to 25psi without going over 100 mph. He said it was some random cylinder 1 misfire code, I said BS I can get it to boost above 20psi in 2nd or 3rd gear doing 50mph. I hate dealerships.

Well they told me it was a bad coil pack and plug and it's not covered under the power-train warranty? How is that not covered?

I could see a plug not being covered (If you mean spark plug) as that's a maintenance item.... but the coil pack??? That should be covered...... Of course I don't write the rules, GM does, and to their benefit it seems.

Yea they said the coil pack went bad which caused the plug to go bad. They said its not covered so I called GM customer service and they are going to see what they can do.

Did you ever get this resolved? Was it the coil pack or the spark plug(s)?? I'm getting something similar and I'm going to change my spark plugs out this weekend as a start. (BTW how much aree coil packs going for?)

One thing about gas stations.

Filling your car/truck 15 - 45 minutes after the tanker left can leave you with bad or dirty - new gas till the tank settles.
