I just noticed that when I step on the brake while in park, I get a loud clicking noise from behind the dash. Sounds like a relay clicking. It does not happen in any gear-only park. Anybody else have this or know why it is happening? I dont remember hearing it before, but it could have been drowned out by my loud music, nagging wife, deaf ears, etc.

 

Hi! I believe it is the solenoid engaging to allow shifting from Park to Drive etc. Another safety feature. Hope this helps.
