i have a problem with my brakes...
i have a 2006 HHR 2.4 2LT i recently bought a 2009 HHR SS so am going to sell the 2006 HHR. in the 2006 i have the Brembo brakes but since am going to sell it i swapped out the brembos for the stock calipers. once i did that i bleed the brakes but the brake peddle goes to the floor so i tough i might have not done the right procedure. so i took it to the dealer. dealer said it was the master cylinder and brake booster. but it was working just fine a day ago but ok. dealer wanted about 1400 to fix it.. so i said **** no the parts are about 200. so i bought the part and i changed the brake booster and the master cylinder but guess what same issue. has anybody run in to this problem. any info would be great.

 

Look at all the brake fluid lines, fittings and hoses for leaks.
Check the calipers for leaks. Did you bench bleed the master cylinder?

Man, that MagnaFlow muffler looks very familiar!
Have a look at the rear brakes cylinders
There has to be air in the system or a fluid leak.

 

i actually took the car to pepboys to get it bleed so ill post back with the results
