Wow never seen that before, sticker is a little worn, but it does say 2LT, so I guess I'll go with that...

The FE3 code should be in the list as well, but if you have the 2LT it's FE3 and the only model that suspension was available on.

Ya its got the 2LT the FE section is the worn part, one number is FE9 and the other may be FE3 or FE5... worn off pretty good though. Has to be the FE3 now to find the part, onto Ebay to ask more questions.

Thank you very much for all your help!!

I have another issue. It's been around for a while, but I've been busy and it's not as annoying as the other noise was..yet. Tricky part is, none of my tricks to make it audible(while under the hood) are working. I can easily make it happen while driving. It's a thump, but not similar to the last with the end link. It happens just about all the time around here, with small holes, dips, etc. I can make it audible if I swerve side to side and it clunks pretty good.

I cannot however, make it do it while the car is standing still. Whether it be in park and just turn the wheel erratically, or getting out and shaking the car. Crawling under the car and prying around on things resulted in nothing as well. I do not believe it to be end links, because as I said, the noise is a totally different type of clunk. I do not believe it to be CV's because when those go south, it would normally make noise if I made a full, flat footed turn. I also do not place it at the steering shaft because to me, clearly it is an outside issue and not an inside issue.

It sounds more like a ball joint or a tire rod, but I can't confirm because I cannot reproduce the noise unless I am driving.

That is exactly how it started with my car, now I can make the clunk with parked or get out and shaking it, my buddy is a Mercedes mech, I let him test drive it and he said tie rods... but that was after a five minutes drive and looking at nothing.... I am going to go with the end link and replacing the sway bar mid point bushing like sooooo many before me. Did you change the bushings??

Well, if your problem were the end links you can have some one shake the car and you can physically grab the end link and it will stop. That is how I singled out my end link the first time.

As for me, I can not get the sound to appear by shaking or at a stop. So I will have to wait. But, I don't have my heart set on end links anyway, because as i said, it is a completely different tone than last time.

Sway bar end link - clunk

Can anyone tell me if changing the sway bar end links to the moog part with grease fittings STOP that clunk for good? Don't wanna pay more for a part that still has to be changed out every year. Have an 08 and had them changed out every year under warrenty and now the dealer is telling me I am responsible!?!

Moog parts should last longer...... That being said, your car shouldn't be eating the stock ones that fast either. Maybe there's another problem?

Sway bar noise

Hey there Greybeard999, We have changed the sway bar bushings, end links, intermediate stering shaft, complete stering colume, stering linkage from colume to rack. I don't understand. When bringing it into the Dealership that many times you would think they would want to investigate instead of throwing parts at it and pushing me out the dooor?. What a nightmare for my first ever brand new vehicle! Was mine made on a Monday?
