Clutch question.

Sounds like your clutch has about had it. Again 80,000 seems a very short life for a clutch. Will be interested in knowing who you have change it out and the cost.

Yes & thorough flush (brakes & clutch) can extend some life to the cluches slave cylinder.
but if you are experiencing problems, & it's fluid related..........I'd say a flush is too late. Imo.
Look in the Owners Manual, page 5-23 Hydraulic clutch shares the brake fluid in the Master Cylinder.

The end of my story is that the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and another major part and a seal were replaced. The fly wheel had to be turned down also. Total cost was $850.00 and done by an independent trans shop here in Naples Fl. I saw all the parts that were replaced. Thanks for your input, Harry.

Glad to see you get your clutch problem fixed sorry about the heavy repair bill but sounds like that about right price for that job.
