I had the same thing happen to my 08. That bracket can make a lot of noise when it's broken

Had no problems before swappin fluids though.
Did the Maxlife say "DexronVI" on it? If so, same thing. But I think they also make a non-GM ATF (Mercon, I think). DexVI is a Synthetic specification, the old Dex numbers were not.
