Dash power outlet not working.

Have a 2006 HHR LS and some time ago i plug an inverter in the power outlet in the dash and blown a fuse apparently but the power outlet in the back console is still working.

I check in the fuse box and there's only one fuse labelled power outlet. Is there's an other fuse somewhere or i burn a wire or something?

Regards.

On the main fuse block under the hood, fuse #12 is for the the rear power outlet and fuse #30 or the front one. This info was found in my 2008 owners manual.

Good luck.

For the '06, the front dash outlet is on the #29 and the console on the #30.

The front, #29 is a 15 amp, the rear, #30 is a 20 amp. For some reason, GM later changed the front to a 20 amp later. Who knows why, other that I've had many issues with mine, replaced the front element twice, the socket once and went to a 20 amp front finally. All is well now.

Ain't GM engineering wonderful??
