That is what mine used to sound like. But it would only make the click about twice a second...had a noticeable pause between clicks...

The thick oil is not helping, the tolerances these engines run are too close for thick oil. The oil pumps can’t pull the oil out of the sump. You’re killing your cams and mains and rod bearings .
The cams don’t have bearings they run in aluminum caps in the cylinder head.

The oil sump can’t bring out the thick Lucas when it’s cold, you have oil starvation for a few seconds on startup

Bad news. Knock is dependent on rpm. But it's intermittent at 1500 rpm and goes away at 2k rpm.

Did you change the oil yet? Is it oil starved or you gonna freshen up the bearings, rings and cylinder head?

While idling in park do a quick snap of the throttle. Tell us what you think.

I did not. I don't know if it's oil starved. Are the 2.0's different than 2.2 or 2.4? No issues with 10-40 and 1 quart of Lucas oil stabilizer in my 2010 LT with 2020k and had it since 40k.

I really don't want to go that far but...if you think I should...I will buy a engine puller and just rebuild the whole thing I guess.

You’re just lucky with your 2.4.

I’m out!
