Check continuity from an inch before the resistor splice and the socket connection. Maybe the Scotch locks broke the wire.

Guys, Let me state again that there is no power coming out from the BCM. This was verified by removing the X3 harness connector and applying a test light directly to the A9 pin and getting no light while the A12 pin gave me a light.

The only thing I can think of is that you somehow shorted the circuit and only that bit of logic got scrambled.

That is my last idea.

Gentlemen:
As I sit here eating crow, I owe you all an apology. I finally took 'Toughie' to the dealer to fix my issue. Turns out that the LED bulb was bad and the socket needed cleaning. There was NO issue with the BCM as I insisted upon. I promise from now on to listen to the wise concerning my little trucklet. Again with complete humility I say thank you guys for ALL your help.

Issue appeared again. This time I went straight to the lamp socket. Turns out it was bad. Installed new one and issue resolved.
Now I wonder why/how the old one broke, but I'm not going to waste to much time.
Thanx again for the info AND patience all here have shown.
