engine help

Its been a very long time since i have been on sorry such is the thing called life. Well any how I blew up the motor in my 2.2 HHR LS and been calling around for motors and looking on line and the question i keep getting asked is if the exhaust manifold is drilled or not for the AIR check valve. I have no idea if it is or isnt not sure where to look either lol. I even called a guy at the local chevy dealer and gave him the vin and it didnt help. I want a cheap motor that runs no more no less lol can any one help me figure out how to find out if the motor is drilled or not for the AIR check valve
Thank you

Well if you're going the used engine route, I'd say find a good '06 engine at a price that suits you, then be prepared to switch the exhaust manifolds if you need to.
