ETS Enhanced Traction System

Ok, this past week, I had this happen twice now. The ETS light, the one with a diagonal line and TC, turns on and the car shifts rough. I stop and park and shut the car off. I wait a few brief minutes, restart the car and the light is off and the car drives normal. I researched this via Google. It seems all indications is a camshaft position valve. Has anybody had this same issue? What did you do, or how was it repaired. If I can figure it out, I am confident I can fix it myself. Please, if somebody knows, please get back to me.. Thanks!

If the engine check light is not lit, and you do not have the CEL codes downloaded that point to the Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valves, it can also be a hub speed sensor or numerous other items causing the problem I believe.

Please see NOTE #2 near the top of the first posting in this thread: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...13-14-a-28779/

If you have downloaded the codes, please post them here and we will see what suggestions we can make.

More likely cause is a bad ABS sensor (bad hub).
