Front disc brake replacements
Simply put. If the rear brakes aren't kept adjusted up, then the fronts do all the braking. That will wear out the fronts quicker plus cause them to get hotter from doing all the work. The rears aren't going to show much wear if they don't do much work.
At your mileage, I would have the front end checked closely for worn parts.
Struts, lower control arm bushings, sway bar links, just to name a few.

When i mentioned to the mechanic that my rear brakes have not been replaced he stated, that's just the way the brakes are set up. It's front brake biased.
I am fifty years old, i have done repairs after learning with help from others.
I am not calling anyone stupid, so how about we be adults and talk to me in english. Teach me like i have no knowledge of what you are talking about which i do not have a clue what lca is. Are we talking about lower control arms? That would cause shuddering in the front end?

geoffphillyphan29 - you came here asking for advice - and the members here have given you good solid advice, with great explanations as to the details of what needs to be checked and the background for those reasons. Yet you dismiss them time after time. Yes, LCA = lower control arms - they are referring to the rear bushing in the Lower Control Arms (a known point of failure, and prone to causing the issues you are having)
Beyond the advice already given, I don't think we can help you any further. Go get the suggested items checked out or adjusted - I think you will find they will help with your problem.

Brake shudder/judder is one of the most frequent complaints here. The usual cause is improper adjustment of the REAR brakes.
If they are too tight you will feel a shudder from the imperfections in the drums. If they are too loose a) the fronts will shudder and b) the front disks will warp from overheating.
I never mentioned replacing the rear brakes, however, I noticed a big change after I replaced mine after the third set of front pads even though they were still "legal".
The Lower Control Arm bushings will make a shudder when they are worn out.

At your milage and from my 200,000 plus miles and personal experience with this LS model which has front discs and rear drum brakes, I believe your rubber lower control arm rear bushings are spongy if not deteriorated to the point of the one on the right integer picture I posted. That is the second set of original equipment GM bushings, junk after 100,000 miles just like the first set.
I changed over to Moog K200792 bearings, they in the picture on the left, instead of rubber or polyurethane, they are metal and nylon. Here is a link you'll need two

These have really solved my front end judder and I even had changed from my stock 10.6 brake discs to larger 11.8 inch SS brakes, the still juddered.
We are just trying to convey our experience and proven resolutions to you.
If been working on cars now since 1962, and have paid attention along the way.
