And do you know if the windshield glass was ever replaced?

Check the glass at the bottom, usually it's dead center for "PPG" markings, if they aren't there the glass may have been replaced.

Safelite Auto Glass accidentally "installed" a minor leak on my former 2011, but they came and redid the replacement with no questions asked.

Because the glass is bonded in, and a structural element, just the smallest void in the Urethane adhesive used to glue the glass in, and you've got a leak.

Unless it was replaced at the dealership before it rolled off the showroom floor. No it has not been replaced.

Wife bought it brand new, showroom model.

Thread is a little old. I have this issue as well. Washed car last night and had water coming through the top of the windshield. I am going to try the silicone windshield sealant that someone posted a link for. Will post my outcome when done.

You are gonna just have to perform a water test and determine exactly where it is entering from. I suspect the top of the windshield, but it could very well be the antenna or sunroof and running down to the windshield. Keep us posted.

Tried some permatex windshield on the glass. That did not work. I didn't try under the seal. May look into the sunroof drains.

Cleaned out sunroof drains. That didn't work. Noticed the antenna seems a little loose. So i am guessing I have to get up under the headliner and try to tighten that.

Does anyone know if the antenna by the windshield tightens down from the inside or the outside?

I’ve never seen the inside of My antenna, looks like six bolts hold it in place.
