Fuel guage doesn't work

My fuel pump pressure dropped to 45 psi so I replaced pump and fuel level sensor with new delco parts. Since I replaced parts my fuel guage has not worked and low fuel level stays on the driver information center (DIC) has anyone had this problem after replacing parts?

My first thought is that you have another bad fuel level sensor, not impossible to get another bad one right out of the box. I'd also recheck all of the connections just to make sure that they are seated properly, also check the connectors to make sure a pin didn't get pushed back or bent. That's all I can think of right now.

I checked all connections, they are good. I am not getting any power from the car now to the fuel level sensor. The fuel pump has power and works good

I also checked all relays and fuses. I have takin it to the dealer and no one there has been able to fix it.

First step is to find another dealer, because if the current one had anybody who can read and follow the diagnostic steps they would be able to fix it. From reading the service manual and making a couple of educated guesses(which is all they are), I'm thinking that you have an issue with the ECM itself, or a short to ground in the wiring harness. Unfortunately this problem is one that will require a good tech with a scan tool and some patience to nail down, wish I could be of more help other than to recommend taking it someplace else.

level sensor wiring

I have a 2007 HHR with the same problem. The Delco level sensor has three places to hook up wires but the fuel pump only has two blue wires. Which two points do I hook up? The conections are numbered l on one side and ll and lll on the other side.

I think I remember somebody posting about that in the last year or two. Give the SEARCH box a try. GM is kind of famous for changing connectors.

If somebody has the time, I'm sure they'll do it.
