Glitch in driver information readout

After filling up with fuel today I found that I cannot reset the driver information display. At the time of fill up, I usually reset both of the trip odometers as well as the mpg display. Today, for some unknown reason, I could not do that. The "range to empty" correctly, automatically reset itself upon fill up Ideas?

There are 2 trip odos, maybe you have always landed on the correct one.

You need to clear the MPG and the trips, if I recall correctly.

My 2007 I can reset the MPG and average speed... Can't reset the "range to empty".

I do know that there are two trip odos; I cannot reset either one, nor the mpg or mph displays. I know HOW to do it, normally, but right now the system will not accept the reset, or "clear" commands. As I said above, the "range" display reset itself automatically, as usual, when I filled the tank.

Try a battery lobotomy to reset the computers and that should get it back to normal.
I can reset my fuel consumption but not miles left in the tank of fuel.

Yeah, oldblue, the "miles to empty" is supposed to automatically reset based upon tank contents and mine does. I'll try the battery lobotomy tomorrow A.M. Maybe it will be above 15 then...
