Eric,sometimes cool weather can shrink plastic parts.I'm thinking that some of your rattles may disappear when the weather stays consistently warmer and the parts slightly expand from the heat.

This happens with my HHR every year. And my old Honda Accord was the same way. Rattled like crazy in winter, quiet in summer.
