HHR Low Idle/Turn of while driving.

I noticed my 2006 Chevy HHR had a recall when I purchased it back in October, so I took it the General Motors dealership for them to replace it. They did so, and the car was in proper condition. My hopes and dreams were for my first car to operate smoothly, causing me less stress to worry about money. RECENTLY, the car will be driving and shut off. I was under the assumption that they gave me a faulty ignition (back in November). All three times I was in low speeds when it happened (two times in a parking lot, one at a stop sign). The car just shut off, giving me access to nothing. I put the car back into gear and it would start up no problems. I HAVE NO LIGHTS THAT ILLUMINATE CHECK ENGINE OR SO FOURTH!

PLEASE HELP ME DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE!

Make sure the red wire going to the under hood fuse box is making a good connection. Also make sure that the top half of that same fuse box is seated into the bottom half. Make sure your battery is in good condition.

The under hood fuse box is that large black box under the hood that you most likely think is the battery.

Check the links in my sig.

Let's see. A 9 year old car with how many miles ?

Could be anything. From the afore-mentioned electrical possibilities, to a dirty throttle body. Really hard to try and diagnose this over the internet.

quote: "I put the car back into gear and it would start up "
This one here. I'm still trying to figure out what you mean by, "into gear", since it should not start in gear.
Maybe you could elaborate.

Turns out it was a dirty fuel injection system. I took it to firestone and they use the decarbonizing stuff and cleaned the throttle body and fuel inject system.

No issues now nearly a year later! Besides the blower motor complication... If you can help me visit this thread: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/main...working-55877/
