You might want to read the customer reviews on that part jimi, the consensus seems to be that it's a hunk of junk. Being that blower motor replacement is major surgery, why not spend the extra and go for the proper Delco part. I think you'll be happier in the long run

So Advance's computer doesn't like your 2011 either Don, guess they are too new.

When I first got the old 2008 Advance would not admit that it had an oil filter.

I got interested in this blower thing, I'm finding some under $50 on ebay and amazon.

The Advance Auto "exact fit" is a waste of time. I've tried it with several vehicles/parts. It lists parts that I know are wrong.
I tried looking up some front end parts for my '98 Dodge truck.Just looking at the parts pictures, I could tell 2/3 of the stuff wasn't even close.

Thanks guys. I got the parts today from a pick-n-pull style salvage yard. They pulled the resistor and the blower from a 2011 that look brand new for $70. I am going to try to replace it myself. I feel confident about the resistor.... but wish me luck on the blower!

Good luck, I guess that means you got the entire housing? Since the blower is molded into it you are going to have a long day.

Oh wow. I didn't realize it was molded. I only got the motor and resistor. Can it be reused?

Ah, n/m. I called a mechanic off Craiglist. He came out with his tools and changed it and the resistor in about 15 minutes. Charged me $60. All is well, it is blowing strong and cold! Glad to have it back. Especially with children in these summer months!
