HHR SS HPFP Issues

Hello all!
I am new here and I joined to pick everyone's brain over this nonsense I have been dealing with since I rebuilt my LNF engine.

Everything went back together beautifully and the timing is perfect.
However my HPFP will now no longer Pressurize my fuel rail. I have tried everything to checking my 12v to checking grounds. Nothing seems to alleviate my pain with this vehicle.
Car will turn over and try to crank.
I have spark and have fuel to the HPFP of 72 psi.
I have replaced the HPFP solenoid plug and even traced wires back to the pcm.

Im at a loss. Please help!

The HPFP is a mechanical pump. It works off a lobe of the camshaft. I seem to recall a spacer or stub shaft between the pump and the camshaft. Did you put that part in before the pump was installed ?

Do you mean the small roller cam spacer that the HPFP pushes into? Is there another piece that i am not aware of?

Have you gauged the low pressure side? Should be close to 60 psi.
