Hi beams cut off
While out this evening to see some Christmas lights, we took a drive out in the country to see a particular house , while driving along I switched to hi beam and the lights barely lit up. When I got home I changed out the hi beam relay for the horn relay and both work fine now.
When I went to the RockAuto site, the headlight hi beam relay shows either a 4 or 5 pin relay, which one is best to use, I have a spare 5 pin in my parts collection. I didn’t want to test it without checking here.

Okie dokie, another case of shy say it fits when if physically cannot. The fuse box panel of the under hood fuse box only has four places for the pins of the relay to slide into. So why the 5 pin relay is mentioned is beyond me .

See in the red circle, I’ve marked a 4 pin receptivity for a 4 pin relay. That’s what’s under the hi beam relay , I’ve also marked in red in the photo below. The yellow circle is drawn around a 5 pin receptivity, I don’t know what that’s there for
