I have a problem with my insturment cluster that only shows up when temperature is below 40 degrees. When it is cold car starts up normally but just the ipc wont light up. Everything normally just no fuel gauge ,no temp gauge no tach. no insturment panel lights. I removed the lower kick panels under steering column and took a hair dryer and heated up the ipc housing and they worked as they should. Also can start it up and let heater warm it up and they finally come. My best guess is the ipc itself. Feedback needed if anyone has had this problem. I bought a used ipc from wrecking yard with 58000 miles on the clock. Is this a direct replacement or does it have to be programmed to BCM?

 

Needs to be programmed. The odometer is in the BCM.
There is only 1 connector, I would take a look at it first.
