If you are lucky it was done before so you won't have to cut it out.

 

Luckily, mine was cut out before I had to replace mine. Mine failed due to the classic under hood cowl letting water in directly into the blower. I replaced the blower and didn't learn about the cowl until a YEAR after doing that so......Check the cowl and seal it properly to avoid having to replace the blower again. I got a lifetime unit from Advance auto, and keep the original receipt in the glove compartment. Something to note, though, is that my aftermarket unit doesn't allowed the foot well cover that goes under the blower to fit properly. Its just kept in my garage and has been there for three years. IF you do have to cut the old one out dont fret, just check YouTube. After you replace it, call the dealer and ask how much they charge for the same repair (HINT it involves replacing the ENTIRE HVAC system as a unit).
