Key stuck in the ignition
last summer we had problem with the key not coming out and we took it and they fixed it and we did not have any issues until this summer we were on our trip to see our son in Florida and the key stuck in the ignition again we can not get it out, so for now we just make sure we have the spare key with us at all times so when we lock the car we can get back in and hopefully no one can just drive off with our car. any help with this issue would be great
thanks

Since the problem recurred, grab your service records and head to your dealer, while re-doing the repair is probably out of their normal repair warranty time limit....I'd imagine a quick talk with the service manager will get you fixed up as a "Goodwill" repair at no cost
In the meantime, grab your owner's manual where it details "unsticking" the key so it can be removed.
If your manual has gone missing, click the link below and then click your model year to download a free copy.

On occasion, I have turned the switch off with the steering wheel in full right or left lock. The key comes out, but later it cranks(turns) only with pressure on the wheel in the direction it was turned in. Might be worth a try to free yours. I only turn mine off with the wheel straight now. Good Luck!
