OK, one track mind, however, heed the warnings about the removal/installation of a battery. You can easily cause the solder problem yourself. You must remove the PCBoard from the rubber gasket and then gently push the battery in/out, being VERY careful not to lift the "cage" at all.

I have the same issue but it is not with the Key FOB. The door lock as been repalced twice now and going in to be fixed again. Looks like our problem is the door panel.

I had and issue with mine too. I was having a problem with removing my key with the shifter in park and bypassed the microswitch at the shifter and amazingly my remote started working again. I'm thinking the switch is a dpst switch and the contact was intermittent for that side of the switch. Its been working every since. Just a thought...hope it helps.
