Pulled the belt all the way out and lightly sprayed it where it enters the plastic molding, continued to spray the belt as it retracted in. Sprayed the buckle/loop also.
It does have a kind of sweet odor to it but it slowly goes away in a few days. The belt retracts all the time and doesn't hang up where it get's caught in the door jamb.
